Quote of the Day: May 22nd, 2006

"What a piece of work is a man! How noble in reason! how infinite in faculties! in form and moving, how express and admirable! in action how like an angel! in apprehension, how like a god! the beauty of the world! the paragon of animals! And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust?"

-William Shakespeare's Hamlet

Today Ben and I went down to Denver to see the Bodyworlds2 exhibit. It was fascinating, seeing people like that. There's so much in the human body, so many delicate structures, that it is really amazing that it works as well as it does so often. I don't know that it changed my life or made me vow to live a better lifestyle, but it helps to know what's going on in there.

Anyway, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science has some pretty cool stuff... I haven't been into the Hall of Life in forever, and it reminds me of when I was younger and more easily entertained. They've got a pseudo-new space exhibit with lots of interactive stuff including water and dirt to play in and a remote controlled rocket to dock.

Very cool.

And the new Denver Art Museum is looking pretty close to done also... I think it's supposed to open in October. I still can't decide if I like it. It's neat, and interesting, but that doesn't mean I like it.

(ps you know this journal rocks because ANYONE can comment. Neat, huh?)
